Jarrod’s journey began on a farm in the West Wimmera, where he built a deep connection to the land. After eight years in the military working on advanced helicopter electronics, he returned to agriculture, applying another eight years to precision farming. This unique mix of technical expertise and hands-on farm experience laid the foundation for AgriStag.

As founder, Jarrod focuses on designing durable, practical electrical harnesses built for real-world farm conditions. His knowledge of advanced systems— from automation to GPS-guided equipment—means he understands exactly what farmers need to keep operations running smoothly.

Jarrod thrives on solving everyday problems, whether wiring complex harnesses or fine-tuning equipment to help growers make better decisions. AgriStag reflects his passion for practical, reliable solutions—because when machinery works, the whole farm works better.

At the core, his mission is simple: use technology to make farming more efficient and less complicated, so growers can focus on producing great crops and livestock.

STORY

In the agricultural industry, there are few ready-made solutions for rate controller installations and conversions. Typically, upgrading implements with new controllers requires specialised expertise in both electrical systems and precision agriculture.

At AgriStag, we bridge that gap. With our knowledge, quality products, and commitment to innovation, we provide practical, cost-effective solutions to upgrade existing implements. Our products reduce the need to decommission otherwise serviceable seeders and spreaders, allowing farmers to modernise without the high costs of replacing entire systems.

VISION

To empower dealers and manufacturers with reliable, ready-to-install solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability, all while maintaining the personal touch and attention to detail that only a family business can offer.

Our goal is to help modernise agricultural equipment, allowing farmers to extend the life of their implements, stay ahead of environmental regulations, and increase operational efficiency. By working closely with certified installers and providing products designed for easy installation, we help customers save time and money while maintaining a commitment to quality and longevity.

SOLUTIONS

At AgriStag, we take a project-based approach, collaborating with you to develop custom, high-quality, and adaptable electrical harnesses that upgrade both older and newer agricultural implements. Our solutions are designed to be user-friendly, with minimal technical expertise required for installation.

Each harness is crafted to ensure straightforward installation, backed by clear instructions and ongoing support, so you can quickly integrate them into your operations. Built to withstand Australia’s tough environmental conditions, our harnesses are made to last, providing durable, efficient solutions tailored to your specific needs.

Our Process - OEMs and Custom Projects

01 / INITIAL CONSULT

We understand the importance of ensuring that the final product meets your operational needs. This is why we take a research and development project-based approach to working with our clients, which begins with a conversation to ascertain your needs. Start the process today by getting in touch with us for an initial consult with our Electrical Solution Specialist.

02 / CONCEPT ITERATION

Some clients have very specific requirements, others need our help to design a unique solution from scratch, in either case you need a chance to see and approve a concept of the product. Whilst it's exciting when we land the perfect product design on the first attempt, we understand that sometimes the initial concept might trigger other ideas or requirement needs. This phase of the project is a chance to work with you to discover and confirm exactly what you need.

03 / PRICE ESTIMATE  & BLOCK DIAGRAM

With the final concept confirmed we commence liaising with our suppliers to develop a product parts list and a price estimate (i.e., quote). This might take us a couple of days but rest assured we will email you through a quote as soon as possible along with a comprehensive block diagram of the product to inform your final decision.

04 / PROTOTYPE
ASSEMBLY

Once we've confirmed that you're happy to proceed, we will issue a formal invoice for a single order.

Why not as many as you would like to start? Well, that's because this is a unique product and the first time it has ever been made! As a client, you've also never fitted it before, and upon doing so other needs may come to mind to further improve the design for your specific needs. This is why we limit orders to a single prototype, per designed product, to start. We're confident it will work to your specifications, but like to afford you the chance to make any adjustments before ordering larger quantities.

05 / CONCEPT CONFIRMATION

After confirming that the prototype meets your needs, we're ready to confirm further quantities required as part of your order. For large quantities we may need to work towards meeting smaller but regular batches, we will advise you of this when it comes time to finalise the order.

06 / FINAL ORDER CONFIRMED

With a final product agreed to and a quantity confirmed, we can advise you of the time frame and will commence work once the final invoice has been paid. Rest assured we keep all of our product designs, block diagrams, schematics, and product lists on file. This ensures that should you seek repeat orders you can skip the previous steps and confirm an order whenever you like!
